Four policemen detained over killing of Bayelsa teenager

No less than four policemen have been confined regarding the claimed executing of a 17-year-old kid, Innocent Kokorifa.


PUNCH Metro had investigated Tuesday that Innocent, the first out of five offspring of Mr. Daniel Kokorifa, an authority of the Federal Road Safety Corps, was shot dead by the Bayelsa State Police Command's Anti-Vice group on Airforce Road in Yenagoa on August 18, 2016.

The casualty was said to run an errand for his mom, Pere, when he was purportedly killed by the police at around 11am on the day.

The state police charge had in an announcement a week ago asserted that the casualty kicked the bucket in a weapon fight between a three-man outfitted theft posse and the police group.

The father of the perished youngster, Daniel, had requested equity for his child.
