Boko Haram Ambushed Nigerian Troops Kill 16 Terrorists

Nigerian troops allegedly executed 16 boko haram terrorists who trapped them.

Armed force Spokesman Col. Sani Kukasheka Usman, said the occurrence happened on Sunday evening. He said, "The ready troops rose to the event and managed a conclusive blow on the extremists, by murdering 16 of them and recuperating arms and ammo from them.

"Weapons recouped from the radicals incorporate 1 Rocket Propelled Grenade 7 tube, 1 Rocket Propelled Grenade bomb, 11 AK-47 Rifle, a 60mm Mortar tube, twelve of 60mm Mortar bombs, a 36 Hand Grenade, 5 AK-47 rifle magazines, 1 Gionee Handset and 1 Bandolier.

"Lamentably, an officer and 11 warriors were injured in real life amid the experience. We are happy to state they have all been dealt with at the unit's medicinal office and are all in stable condition.

"The troops have kept on escalating watchfulness and abnormal state of sharpness through watches and observation."
