Lagos Cult Leader, Small Jpron, Arrested For Five Murders

The Lagos State Police Command on Wednesday paraded a self-admitted pioneer of the Eiye Confraternity, Ibrahim Balogun, otherwise known as Small Jpron, for supposedly killing five people amid various faction wars.

PUNCH Metro learnt that 29-year-old Small Jpron was captured on Saturday by analysts appended to the Alade Police Division on Apata Street in the Somolu territory of the state.

It was assembled that Small Jpron was captured after some suspected cultists assaulted the range on Saturday and the suspect turned out with his young men for a backlash.

Our journalist assembled that Small Jpron supposedly sorted out a posse which set a house on fire in January 2016 on Oshinfolarin Street, Bariga, amid which a 65-year-old lady, Adejoke Adefuye, was blazed to death.

A police source told our journalist that Small Jpron had been proclaimed needed for five homicide cases in the Somolu and Bariga territories in 2016.

Talking while being paraded at the order central command, Ikeja, on Wednesday, the suspect said he joined the faction to vindicate the homicide of his companion in 2009 by suspected Aye Confraternity individuals.

He said, "I am an Eiye clique pioneer. I joined the religion in 2009. The purpose behind my joining was to vindicate the demise of a dear companion, Sunday Folorunsho, otherwise known as Small Biscuits.

"It was the Aye faction individuals who slaughtered him. Along these lines, the Eiye group drew nearer me and said I ought to go along with them and they would help me fish out the general population who slaughtered my companion. I had a considerable measure of young men working for me. I have slaughtered three people among whom were Femi Wiper and Lekan Akon.

"I cut them with blades. I shot some different casualties. They were slaughtered in the Somolu and Bariga zones. It was at night that Femi Wiper was murdered. We were going out for a jubilee amid the Easter time frame on Alade Street in the Somolu region when a battle broke out. He was the person who initially pointed a weapon at me and my young men hacked him to death."

The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, said Small Jpron had been proclaimed needed by the police for various instances of homicide.

He included that the suspect was an ex-convict.


He said, "Recently, there were significant religion conflicts, where criminal components in the Somolu and Bariga zones drew in each other in a war of matchless quality coming full circle in the passings of a few people.

"The pack, drove by Small Jpron, additionally set on fire a house in the Pedro zone in which an elderly lady was smoldered to death. The suspect was the person who drove the religion posse war. He is a known criminal in the Somolu range.
