Ondo 2016: Oke ditches APC for AD, woos APC stalwarts
In front of the November 26 governorship decision in Ondo State, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) competitor in the 2012 race and driving hopeful of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Olusola Oke, has discarded APC for Alliance for Democracy (AD).
Oke, who tended to a huge number of supporters and followers in Akure, yesterday, pivoted his choice on affirmed misrepresentation and anomalies that damaged the September 3 essential race of the gathering.
He said: "I was the main individual to raise caution over the goliath extortion in that essential. I was later vindicated by the advance board of trustees, which decided that the essential be drop, and that another one be led where a famous hopeful would rise.
"Yet, Oyegun and his scheme continued to present that name to INEC, in this way murdering the fantasy of Ondo State individuals in APC to have the genuine change they have been longing for.
"I admit to you that the fantasies of the authors of the APC is great and commendable. The logic behind APC is great however sadly some scheme commandeered the spirit of the gathering at the national level.
"They have enthroned bad form over equity, imbalance over value, shamefulness over reasonableness, and hence they rolled out it outlandish for genuine improvement to be actualised this time on the stage of APC."
Despite the fact that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) recorded Dr. Associated Olowookere as the gathering's governorship banner conveyor a week ago, Oke said he would keep on lobbying other disappointed APC pioneers to join his new gathering.
