Customs advocates total ban on rice imports by 2017

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) is upholding an aggregate restriction on rice imports with impact from 2017 to empower nearby makers, says the Service Public Relations Officer, Mr. Grain Adeniyi.

This is contained in an announcement marked by Adeniyi, on Sunday in Abuja.

He said that the administration was bothered by different reports demonstrating that traditions had turned around the restriction on rice importation through the land outskirts.

Adeniyi said that the reports were ascribed to a squeeze meet purportedly allowed by the administration PRO, Deputy-Comptroller, Wale Adeniyi.
