PDP did nothing for 16 years, says Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari says the Peoples Democratic Party which ruled Nigeria for a long time, fulfilled nothing.

Buhari said this while tending to columnists in Daura on Monday in the wake of going to Eid petitions, as per an announcement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Garba Shehu.

He said, "I need Nigerians to understand that what this administration acquired following 16 years of the PDP government was no investment funds, no base, no force, no rail, no street and no security."

The President, in any case, contended that inside a year, his administration could smash Boko Haram.

He said he had escalated the war against debasement as the individuals who redirected open assets had begun giving back the cash.

The President further kept up that his war against debasement was not uneven.

The President expressed gratitude toward Nigerians for supporting the Federal Government's arrangements, projects and activities went for enhancing security, patching up the economy and battling debasement.

President Buhari is watching the current year's Eid occasion in his local home in Daura, Katsina State and will come back to Abuja after the two-day open occasion
