Kano disco loses N108m to vandalism in six weeks
Power transformerThe Kano Electricity Distribution Company Plc (KEDCO) has said it lost hardware worth N108 million to vandals in six weeks.Its Public Relations Officer (PRO) , Mohammed Kandi, expressed this in an announcement in Kano, saying that the firm lost transformer oil, aluminum conveyors, upriser links and other significant materials.
The announcement said: "The spate of vandalism, vitality robbery and meter sidestep which had as of late risen to a great degree in KEDCO's regions of operation was getting to be deplorable.
"We are along these lines approaching the clients, who endure the worst part, to watch over the establishments in their zones."
