Jibrin’s suit against Dogara for October 21
A Federal High Court, Abuja Division has settled October 21 for hearing in a legitimate activity initiated by previous Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, Abdulmumin Jibrin, against the Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara.
Jibrin had recorded a suit against the speaker taking after the House of Representatives' determination, suspending Jibrin from taking an interest in the exercises of the House for 180 sitting days.
He had guaranteed that the choice to suspend him negated the law, since there was a pending court case on the matter.
Jibrin was suspended from the House on Wednesday for purportedly breaking the practices and points of reference of the House of Representatives.
