Nigeria needs critical mass to fight graft, say Obasanjo, Aig-Imoukhuede

Obasanjo talked at the board of admonitory roundtable of the Africa Initiative for Governance (AIG) in Lagos yesterday. He said: "In these regions, we have to upgrade the nature of men and ladies, nature of administration, character, demeanor and execution to revive corporate administration."
As per him, "That we have failed to meet expectations as a nation is not on the grounds that God has not given us the capacity to perform better. The issue is not that of God, the flaw is our own.
"When we have government with the minimum amount of the right individuals in the common administration, parastatals, authority of all levels, we are moving. "Nations where progress has been made like Singapore, Rwanda in Africa; the initiative has originated from the administration. On the off chance that the administration is not originating from the administration, let government be an accomplice, let government not disappoint the endeavors, rather it ought to empower activities like this," he said.
AIG's Chairman and Founder, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, included: "We can't battle defilement on the off chance that we don't put into government individuals who have been prepared and are set up to battle debasement. We have to put a minimum amount since one man can't change a country. One man can fortify the change of a country however one man can't change a country.
