Military Officers Indicted In Arms Scam Report Could Face Dismissal

Military officers arraigned in the central government's arms outrage report might be rejected, by Newspaper.
The officers involved in the report will be cross-examined by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) this week. The prosecuted officers incorporate two previous military boss, Lieutenant-General Azubuike Ihejirika, and Lt.- Gen. Kenneth Minimah.
Military representative Rabe Abubakar uncovered that no less than ten military officers involved would be attempted under both common and military laws, saying that the staff would be released if discovered blameworthy.

"We are totally behind the continuous hostile to debasement drive in the country...the military of Nigeria are focused on guaranteeing that degenerate practices are stemmed out of the framework and we bolster each strategy of the administration in that course," he said.
The representative included that the military's choice the arraigned officers would be made open sooner rather than later.
An EFCC source uncovered to Punch Newspaper that notwithstanding the two previous military boss, the accompanying officers would be grilled for the current week: Major-General J.A.H. Ewansiha, Maj.- Gen. U. Buzugbe, and Maj.- Gen. E.R. Chiba.
Also, the EFCC will address previous Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nurudeen Mohammed and three previous lasting secretaries from the Ministry of Defense, Bukar Goni Aji, Haruna Sanusi, E. Oyemomi. One John Bamidele will likewise be cross-examined.
The EFCC source told Punch, "On Monday, we will dispatch solicitations to ten of those said in the report and by Wednesday their cross-examination will begin."
