EFCC Grills Pilot Who Flew N1.299b Cash For Fayose, Obanikoro
A pilot has told the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFFC) how he flew a previous Minister of State for Defense, Mr. Musiliu Obanikoro, with N1.299 billion money for Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose.
Capt. Ahmed Bashir Borodo said the money was wrapped with green military covering packs before it was stacked onto the contracted flying machine enrolled HS125-800 5N-BMT, possessed by Gyro Air Limited.

He said the sacks were heavy to the point that exclusive three individuals could convey each one in turn.

Additionally, the General Manager of Gyro Air Limited, Mr. Jide West, has uncovered that about $25, 200 was paid for the two sanctioned flights from Lagos to Akure and Akure to Abuja. EFCC criminologists flame broiled Borodo and West at the weekend,

The session was a piece of the progressing test of Fayose for purportedly accepting the N1.299billion slush stores from Obanikoro through his partner, Abiodun Agbele.

About N4.745billion was paid into Obanikoro's organization Sylva Mcnamara's office by the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) for the 2014 Ekiti governorship.

Bordo said he just flew the plane in accordance with the order of his aircraft's administration.

He said: "On the seventeenth June 2014, I was prompted around 0700 hours by my Flight Operations Department that we would work a contracted flight to Akure from Lagos with the assessed takeoff time of 0830 hours.

"The customer was Musiliu Obanikoro, Minister of State for Defense around then.

"I touched base at the airplane terminal at around 0730 hours to plan for the flight alongside my associate, Captain Olubiyi Famuyiwa and lodge chaperon Uyi Okoro. Minutes after the fact, the pastor's assistants went to the airship with some bullion vans. They began offloading the substance, which was enormous green covering sacks. Military packs decisively.

He said: "On the 15/16 of June 2014, Lt. Adewale O Eruka called me for a flight to Akure booked for seventeenth and eighteenth of June 2014 on the direction of Musiliu Obanikoro. I reached operation and the flight was completed as definite underneath: 17/6/14 – Lagos – Akure – Lagos


"I was educated that they conveyed the sacks to Akure with a few travelers as demonstrated in the show.

"On 18/6/14 , the flight was Abuja – Akure – Abuja to get the travelers from Akure back to Abuja. The flying machine was void from Abuja however taken the travelers back to Abuja. Travelers as demonstrated in the show.

"The flights were paid for; $25,200 was paid for both flights and this was masterminded by Lt. Adewale. The team on the flight on both events were: Capt. 'By Famuyiwa whose administration has been ended by Gyro Air Ltd; Ahmed Borodo the second pilot who went with me to EFCC today; and Uyi Okoro the lodging group who surrendered her arrangement from Gyro for further concentrates abroad.
