Court remands Edo APC chiefs over alleged murder attempt

Two chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Osakpamwan Eriyo and Sunday Osagbona were yesterday remanded in jail authority by the Oredo Magistrate Court over claim of endeavored murder.

Eriyo is the APC youth pioneer in the state and the administrator of the Road Transport Employers Association (RTEAN) while Osagbona is the gathering's director of ward three in Oredo nearby board.

Before they were summoned yesterday evening, their supporters resisted police bar and attacked the central command of the State Police Command to request their discharge.

The police later took them to the officer court along Sapele Road under substantial security.

Their requests were not taken but rather insight to the denounced people, Usunobun Evbayiro, in what he depicted as a 'Christmas application' encouraged the court to allow them guardianship at the police facility due to affirmed sick wellbeing.

He said his customers were hypertensive, asthmatic and need steady therapeutic consideration.
