An amalgam of aggressor gatherings known as the Joint Revolutionary Council (JRC) has issued a 48-hour final offer to Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson to apologize to Ijaw lady extremist, Annkio Briggs or confront their outrage.

Briggs was ambushed by criminals in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State capital seven days back to dissent the allotment of 1, 200 hectares of land to Fulani herders for steers touching.

The dissenters had amassed at Tombia Junction, the take-off point, in Yenagoa and Briggs was apparently tending to the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, his men and the social affair on the motivation behind the challenge when hooligans unhindered, jumped, ambushing her and others.

As per the representative of the JRC, Cynthia Whyte yesterday, if Governor Dickson neglected to apologize "enter disturbing gatherings in the state would be enacted to undermine the Dickson government."

She stated: "Inside that 48-hour space, key upsetting gatherings will first repudiate acquittal and afterward initiate arrangement of exercises to commute home our point and position. Tragically that a similar government which numerous Ijaws battled and clamored to win the 2016 races would now end up being an administration of oppression, inadequacy and idiocy," JRC said.

Whyte stated: "Tragically that today, a similar scoundrel components, outfitted thieves and unrepentant solidified lawbreakers, who conflicted with Governor Dickson's second term are a similar band of rebels that would be employed to mug, crowd and assault Annkio Briggs and her kindred dissenters.

"This speaks to the completion of bad form and oppression. We won't permit this to occur in Bayelsa State, the support of Ijaw country," the JRC articulation charged.
